Shihan Gaby Hajjar

Kyokushin Karate Instructor

Shihan Gaby Hajjar began his Kyokushin Karate journey in 1998.

Over the years, his training has extended far beyond the dojo — through international camps, grading examinations, and continuous study within the global Kyokushin community.

His approach is rooted in discipline, responsibility, and respect — preserving the original spirit of the art beyond trends or commercial influence.

Through his teaching, he is committed to giving back to the community by transmitting Kyokushin Karate according to its traditional standards.

His long-term vision is to build a dojo that stands as a true institution, a place where the values of Kyokushin are preserved, practiced, and passed on with integrity.

PHILOSOPHY

Karate must never be driven by money.

Training is a responsibility, not a transaction.

THE JOURNEY

Progress through the Dan ranks was earned through years of discipline, preparation, and international evaluation.

Each grading required endurance, technical precision, and the ability to uphold Kyokushin standards under pressure.

Beyond formal examinations, this journey has been shaped through continuous international training, seminars, and participation within the global Kyokushin community.

In accordance with traditional Kyokushin standards, all senior gradings were completed outside the Province of Québec.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

In addition to training and gradings, Shihan Gaby has participated in international Kyokushin competitions as an official referee.

He has served as:
主審 (Shushin) — Center Referee
副審 (Fukushin) — Corner Judge

These roles reflect a high level of trust in his knowledge, discipline, and understanding of Kyokushin standards.

Alongside his training, these international experiences have contributed to the standards and philosophy upheld at the dojo today.
